More About Dr. Park
A native of Roxbury, Mass., Dr. Park lived in Pennsylvania (dental school) and Louisiana (U.S. Army) before settling in Colchester. Active in civic, political and educational areas, he was Chairperson of the Colchester Board of Education, the Democratic Town Committee and the Citizen Advocacy Program of Eastern, CT. He also served on the Board of the American Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges, the New England Board of Higher Education, and was vice-president of the CT Association of Boards of Education.
His three adult children are all professionals: Glynis is a guidance counselor; Seth is an attorney; and Dr. Elyse is a research director at Mass General Hospital in Boston, and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Park enjoys gardening, water sports, landscaping, and is currently writing a book. He lives in Colchester, with his airedale Sasha.
